How to Host or Sponsor a JUST GRANTS! Arizona Workshop
In Your Community

  • Do you have 15 or more people you’d like to participate in a grants workshop together?
  • Is there a specific grants-related topic or organizational focus you’d like to see addressed in a workshop in your community?
  • Not finding the JUST GRANTS! Arizona workshops you want in your own city or town?

If you can answer “yes” to any of these questions, a hosted or sponsored JUST GRANTS! Arizona workshop may be perfect for you. By serving as a JUST GRANTS! Arizona workshop host or sponsor, you can bring exactly the grants-related training you want, right to your community or organization. It doesn’t have to cost you anything – and you may even make some money in the process!

How to Find Out More

  • First, review the information below describing our workshop arrangements and some of the organizations with which we’ve worked recently.
  • Second, please contact Maryn Boess at mboess@azgrants.com for more information or to discuss your specific training needs and interests.

What Is a Hosted Workshop?

If you choose to host a JUST GRANTS! Arizona workshop, you become our partner in bringing the training of your choice to your community. You secure the training location, provide the equipment, and help get the word out – and we do all the rest. As a host, your organization is eligible to send up to three staff, volunteers or board members to attend the training – at no charge. There is no financial risk to you; however, in a hosted workshop JUST GRANTS! Arizona reserves the right to cancel if registration numbers are too low.

What Is a Sponsored Workshop?

As a workshop sponsor, your organization actually contracts with JUST GRANTS! Arizona to offer the training of your choice. You manage all the workshop logistics – with our support on publicity and marketing. You set the registration price and collect the registration payments directly from others in the community. (Of course you can use as many “free” slots as you like.) Once you’ve covered our training fee and your other out-of-pocket costs, all other registration revenue is yours to keep. Previous sponsors have netted between $100 and $2,000 per workshop, after expenses.

What Is an “In-House” Workshop?

An “in-house” arrangement brings JUST GRANTS! Arizona ’s grants expertise through your front door and right into your organization. You contract with JUST GRANTS! Arizona to provide the workshop of your choice, for your staff, volunteers, and other affiliates. We can arrange to modify our curriculum for your specific group or interests, or even develop a whole new topic. An “in-house” workshop allows you to offer tailored training for a number of people from your organization at once – giving them the opportunity to benefit from the focused curriculum and shared learning experience.
