How to Search Grant Awards:

To search our grant awards database, enter your search criteria in any or all of the search fields. See additional "Helpful Hints" below.

  • Funder's name: Complete this field to see all grants awarded by a specific funder.
  • Grant recipient: Complete this field to see all grants awarded to a specific Arizona agency or organization -- for instance, one whose mission or programs are similar to yours.
  • Recipient's city: Complete this field to see all grants awarded in a specific city or town. Enter the entire name (enclose multiple-word names in quotation marks) or any portion of it.
  • Purpose of award:  Enter a key word or phrase to list grants awarded to address a specific need, purpose or target population. For instance: literacy; homeless; elderly .
Helpful Hints:
  • The more fields you enter, the more focused your search results will be, and the fewer results you will receive. To receive more results, complete fewer fields.
  • Because this is a "keyword" search, you will only receive search results that exactly match the characters you enter. For this reason, it's best to enter only the shortest recognizable portion of the name, word or phrase you want to search. For instance, if you are searching for the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, enter Pulliam.
  • You can search for less than a full word by using the * as a "wild card" for the missing letters. For instance, entering art* will return all listings containing the words art, arts, artist, artists, artistic, art-related, and so on.
  • If your search term contains more than one word, enclose it with quotation marks. For instance, "El Mirage"; "domestic violence"
  • Try entering multiple possible terms for the same concept. For intance, entering teen* youth* adol* (with the wild-card *) will give you the greatest number of "hits" for grants to serve people between the ages of 13 and 19.
